Mid- winter challenge – Get your GOAL in!!

Mid-Winter Challenge

We want this GOAL to be SMART - specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time specific. We are all choosing a GOAL too so it will be fun doing this together.

Ideas for your challenge could be things like:

  • Improve your hip flexibility and mobility (this is Sue’s)
  • Improve your balance
  • Add to the repertoire of classes you do
  • Add in another circuit to your week (this is Kirsty W’s)
  • Pushing yourself harder in each class
  • Eating more protein
  • Increasing your hydration
  • Improving your posture
  • Count your number of steps each day - work towards 8,000 to 10,000
  • Work on your breathing - increase your CO2 tolerance by holding your exhale for longer
  • Work on a better sleep by implementing a new bedtime routine
  • Reduce the amount of time you scroll through social media
  • Add more stretching into your daily/weekly routine
  • Roll downs every day
  • Deepen your squat

Jane's goal is to increase her grip strength; so she is going to see how many seconds she can hold her body weight from the pull down bar at re:ab at the start of the month and then again at the end of the month (so if you see her hanging around in the studio.... that's why! :)

Debbie is working towards carrying 30kgs up and down 2 flights of stairs, 20 times by 1 November! We’ll share some more with you over the next few weeks.

But it’s up to you to choose something that resonates with you right now…..
