Debbie SummerDebbie is a qualified Physiotherapist & Clinical Pilates Instructor and loves the integration for rehabilitation and conditioning. She has a postgraduate diploma in physiotherapy and acupuncture and is a qualified Steel Pilates Practitioner. Debbie has worked with Ponsonby, Auckland and South Auckland rugby league teams & assisted at North Harbour Club netball with physiotherapy and sports massage. Prior to physio, Debbie completed her Postgraduate Diploma in Sports & Exercise Science at Auckland University and was teaching at her own branch as a qualified ballet teacher until 2009. Debbie enjoys performing arts, as well as a good game of rugby.


DAMIAN TAYLOR - Senior Physiotherapist NZRP, MNZSP

Damian Taylor Damian has gained extensive experience both in New Zealand and the UK in a variety of hospitals and private practices over the last 29 years.
He has attended numerous postgraduate courses to extend his skill base and develop new treatment strategies. This includes being qualified in the world acclaimed McKenzie Method of spinal treatment and completing his certification in Advanced Sports Rehabilitation at the prestigious Curtin University in Australia. Damian completed his postgraduate diploma in health science in 2016 with an A grade average and received the Manipulative Therapy association award for “first in class” in the musculoskeletal physiotherapy examinations. He is currently studying towards his Masters in Health Practice and writing a review on the efficacy of hypnotherapy for chronic pain.
Damian established his own successful practice within Auckland in 2004 which grew to include four clinics before being sold. He joined the team at Reab in 2016 and combines this wealth of experience with the most up-to-date research to offer treatments that will produce rapid long-lasting results.

Kirsty Murray - Senior Physiotherapist (BSC Hons), Diploma Orthopaedic Medicine, Certified APPI Pilates Instructor, Accredited Acupuncture Practitioner (AACP UK) - (Currently on maternity leave)

Kirsty graduated in Physiotherapy from Queen Margaret University Edinburgh in 2006. Since qualifying Kirsty gained extensive experience working in the UK initially within a variety of settings, then since 2010 solely in the private musculoskeletal sector in Edinburgh, where laterally Kirsty worked as a Team Lead Physiotherapist.

Kirsty is a Certified Pilates Matwork Instructor through the APPI and since 2010 has enjoyed teaching matwork classes and furthering her Pilates training and knowledge including ante and postnatal teaching experience. Kirsty’s elite Sports Physiotherapy experience includes working at the 2012 Olympics in London, 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and working for 4 seasons within Premier 1 Division Rugby in Edinburgh.

Kirsty is excited to have joined ReAb after relocating to Auckland with her Kiwi Husband.  Her particular clinical interests include orthopaedic rehab, sports injury rehab and combining her Pilates experience with her “hands on” Physio skills to facilitate recovery, optimise performance and reduce the risk of re- injury.

RACHEL HORSEY - Senior Physiotherapist

After graduating from the University of Southampton in 2007 Rachel worked in Wales for 3 years in a variety of hospital settings and with multiple sports teams. She left Wales in 2010 and travelled for 6 months en route to NZ. She has been working in a private clinic setting as a physiotherapist, a bootcamp instructor and working with a variety of sports teams; including NZ rep netball teams and a Division 1 soccer team. She also trained in Pilates and really enjoys the way it complements rehabilitation. She feels that happiness, health and fitness are the key to achieving any goal.
