get better, better

We pride ourselves in our ability to provide safe and effective classes. We highly recommend that you either come to our Beginners' Pilates Class or have a 30 min initial assessment with one of our Physiotherapists before you come to your first open class. There is no need to have an assessment before you come to boot camp but please let us know if you have any injuries or issues that we need to let your instructor know about.

Mat Class
Our mat classes focus on core strengthening incorporating flexibility, balance and general toning using a range of equipment. You will love the variety of exercises using rollers, magic circles, swissballs and free weights - no two classes are the same. We have small class numbers so can cater for different levels.

Reformer Class
A dynamic, fun class using Pilates Reformer machines. A great way to build core strength and develop flexibility. A challenging workout unable to be achieved at home. Classes are limited to 5 and are very popular so bookings are required.

Equipment Class
This class is perfect for those recovering from injury/surgery or those who prefer independent exercise. Come and see one of the Physiotherapists for a personalised programme that you carry out in the allocated class time. You will have access to all equipment including the Reformers. The classes are supervised by a Physiotherapist and are a safe way to get back into exercise and build strength.

Combo Class
A new class that incorporates matt, reformer and cardio exercises. Get your heart rate up and get your core muscles firing!! Spend 30 mins on the mats or reformers then 30 mins on the BOSU ball for a cardio burst.

Beginners' Class
Never done Pilates before or just starting back? This is the class for you. Ideal for those who are recovering from injuries, have back issues, pregnant or those wanting to get into Pilates. This is a 45 min basic class taken by a Physiotherapist. Learn about core muscles and good posture in a safe environment then progress to our other classes. You do not need an initial assessment to join this class.

Boot Camps
Want to get fit fast? Our outdoor boot camp style class is perfect for those who want to improve cardiovascular fitness, strength and endurance. A great way to exercise in a group and enjoy the outdoors. We incorporate core exercises and running technique so is suitable for people at the end stage of their injury recovery. Suits a variety of levels with low and high impact classes available. More info

cardio:pilates
Pilates with a difference! Start in the studio for 15 mins of core strengthening then hit the streets for a walking style boot camp. A safe way to improve core strength and cardiovascular fitness. This is a low impact class with no running so is suitable for everyone. We also have a stroller class for new mums - bring your baby and stroller along.

Gold Class Pilates
Finally we have an exercise class designed for the more 'mature' individual. Exercise in any form is beneficial for general health and there are wide ranging benefits that anyone can enjoy by utilising a consistent, moderate exercise program.

Gold Class Pilates involves exercising a range of muscles important for core strength, stretching to maintain flexibility, and balancing exercises. Pilates can also improve the quality of muscles that support the bones to reduce the risk of osteoporosis. This is at beginner level instructed by a Physiotherapist so is suitable and safe for all.

Pregnancy/Post natal Class
This class is taken by a Physiotherapist and is ideal for ladies at any stage of pregnancy. This class will help you to strengthen your pelvic floor and core muscles, improve posture, and tone your arms. We highly recommend an initial assessment before you start this class so that we can assess for any aches or pains and educate about pregnancy related issues.
